WHY A UNIVERSAL APPROACH TO UNIVERSAL ENERGY?
The term Reiki, is used in Japan and across the globe, referring in its philosophy to the Universal source. Whilst the Japanese have re-enlightened the world about the Universal Source it tends to use some aspects of its own cultural defining, whilst they are still drawing from a Universal Source
The knowledge of the Universal Source and all its cultural slants, could perhaps be compared to a river. A river begins it's journey from pure and clean water sources in the mountains. Whilst we can find the clearest water at the beginning of the river, this water can often become muddy and contaminated as it flows downward and reaches the ocean.
By no means can water be taken from the foot of a river and show how clean and clear it actually was at its source. Therefore, if we try to determine its quality at the place where the river reaches the ocean, we would inevitably come to a lot of wrong conclusions would we not?. If we want to understand the essence and particularities of the water we need to examine the river at its source. Similarly, in order to perceive fully and more precisely we need to derive the knowledge of Universal energy from its original sources, not its cultural snowball effect.
Nowadays, the knowledge of Universal energy represented in many forms resemble the muddy waters of a river that reaches the ocean. Such cultural definition can not only misinform and confuse their participants, but they also propagate conflicting ideas. As a result, people tend to believe that there are many different types of Reiki. This in turn leads to disputes about the superiority of one type of Reiki over another, it happened in Spirituality all the time.
This confusion further opens up discussions on whether Reiki is to be considered a particular cultural monopoly or not. Universal Learning provides a neutral facilitation for you to perceive through through this confusion. Thus, with these neutral facilitation people can plunge into the muddy waters of contemporary discourses on healing and spirituality and tell apart right from wrong for themselves.
In other words, with neutral facilitation and participation Universal Learning are providing a steady paced and neutral growing network for anyone to distinguish between correct and false information on Reiki/Universal Energy and its snowball effect of the the river collecting eclectic perception on its way down from the mountains to the ocean.
A Universal 'Sweat lodge' approach to receiving energy was channeled in the South West 15 years ago. Based on a life time of mysticism I and a few others facilitated a 'Vision Quest' & 'Shamanic' Synergy. Members of our 'vision quest group spent days in a Sussex Forest facilitating different directions of energy - we set to work inside our own Medicine wheels. * Earth - North *Air - East *Water - West *Fire - South = News - I did not speak or move from within my circle for 24 hours.
In the depth of a forest I channeled a vision of an energy a 'Universal Approach' to healing, where I was presented with a Dead Deer's Skull that was found by the waterside. I continued through the night to strip the skull of skin and hide and bring the energy of the deer forward to support me in my task of sitting in my "Medicine" Wheel. Real down to earth activity - The skull now sits in our 18 year old Lizards tank, housing an eco system within. Of course there are different ways to approach Reiki' the popular name for healing these days A Universal approach for me is a much more simplistic way of intending healing of any kind. Interaction with the a bio psycho social approach.
